The importance of strategic alignment

Going left, going right, hang on....

Your business is a living thing. 

It is an entity you are creating (or managing) independent of you.  Your business has its own persona and direction which your team need to recognise and identify with, so they can contribute to it.

Strategies help achieve this clarification of flavour and direction.

Lack of clear strategy

Without clear strategies your business will go in the direction that pushes the hardest, or shouts the loudest.  This is likely to waste precious time and resources working on things that do not add value to your business, or worse, working on multiple directions.
